I am Diana Estrada. I am a teacher for almost ten years, and I am working with teens and adults since this time. At this moment I work in a public Institute where students receive Standard English and English based content, too. At the moment I started this master program, I feel excited because of the importance it has for me. I love teaching and sharing knowledge with others. It is my passion, and I have no problems helping others and also receiving feedback. I consider observations among teacher community enrich our teaching.

In our institution, we have meetings every month or when we finish a module to exchange observations about student`s progress. We make adaptations if it is necessary for trying new things to report good results. I talk to my boss about the survey and how vital it could be for us, not just for me. I discuss with him about DE privatizing practice and how often are the following things true about the group with whom we are collaborating. He agreed, and I gave the survey to and him my coworkers, too. We were analyzing every item in details. The first question was a little hard because even when it is true, and we observe each other to provide feedback, we did not do at all. We consider that it is quite significant and we have to take it with responsibility because it leads us to know our weaknesses but how we can improve them. On the other hand, we resolve that showing each other our strengths; it let us exchange it. There are different methods and techniques to transfer among us; there is no reason to feel uncomfortable sharing evidence about what is happening in our classroom. We as a team were also sure that we fulfil a high percentage of the goals of the system we work because of the fact we work together and have no problems of sharing among us and other areas. At the end of the meeting, my colleagues and I were greatly pleased about the significance of the survey and how it will help us from now. And we conclude that even when we are always together and accountable to each other, we were not paying attention to real feedback that is the key to success as an English team and as an institution.
