Sharma and Motteram (2009) indicated that "What is a contender for a methodology that is central to the world of technology and language learning is that of blended learning (p.7). Considering to what Sharma and Motteram I state that there are a variety of platforms that teachers use to convince society about the impact of the development of pedagogy. Every day of my classes at this master program I see my teacher’s preparation, effort but apart of that, I can spread my admiration because of their high capacity and rehearsal trying to refine and go into details about our imperfect knowledge.
Keeping in mind all the changes and the latest advances that give the students the opportunity to get immersed in the language learning process and also, bearing the chance we have to access quickly to any authentic audio and visual material I consider relevant to make changes to the traditional teaching. I am a teacher, but also, I always put my feet as a student, based on the philosophy that I have to give the best if I want the best.
Furthermore, Moodle application in this magic, stressful but at list pleasing master program is of great importance in teaching. As education is improving and innovating rapidly, teachers have to take advantage on it, and it involves continuous teachers training. Classrooms at this time are not just the places where students learn how to read or write, but how to apply the acquired knowledge into real life and also how to further their interest and expertise. It shows that teachers to a great extent have to be well prepared and trained.
In spite of, students also can develop their activities outside their classrooms that enable them to spend more time practicing their tasks. Motteram and Sharma (2009) stated that “It enables the face-to-face class to be extended in various kinds of ways and also extends the time that the students spend on tasks” (p. 90).
The first time, flipped classroom which apparently occurs at home, and some other that happens in the class sounds rare and disturbs me. However, we as teachers need to push our students to practice at home and bring the activities to the classroom. And there is no reason why we do not have to palpate the same technique and methodology.
Thorne and Reinhardt (2008) stated that "the notion of ‘bridging activities,' which simplistically is about getting learners to talk about how learners are using technology in their out of class lives’ in the classroom" (p.7). I analyze this idea of the transformations of language learning through technology regarding that by using technological tools we feel confident and become autonomous, as our students in classrooms.
As a conclusion, I reflect that through taking this master’s program my twenty-first-century skills are improved and, I can dig all my previous knowledge deeply at the same time that I use, explore and exploit technology. Now Moodle platform makes me feel that I get over my erroneous and inadequate experience.
